Can I put a barrel with an M4 extension on a upper receiver which has the "dremmel" ramps or no ramps at all?

I am trying to visualize why it would be a problem and I just cannot see why it would be.

Am I correct??

Thanks

yes. you cannot use an "M4" upper with a standard rifle extension. everything else should be fine.

You can use a barrel with feed cuts on a receiver w/o feed ramps (this work just like a setup with a carbine/rifle that has no feed/ramp cuts whatsoever).

You cannot/should not use a receiver w/feed ramps and a barrel w/o feed cuts (the cartridge will likely catch onto the portion of the barrel extension that is exposed by the receiver ramps when it is stripped from the magazine by the BCG, thus giving a FTF).

Hope this helps.
