I need answers and a solution if someting is wrong, this is my second build, my first was a A2 stock and had no issues.

It's hard to tell from the picture how truly chewed up the buffer is.  If it's just finish wear, it's no problem at all.  If it's eating away at your buffer.....check the finish of the bolt carrier assembly to see what's causing it.  It looks like something minor and nothing to worry about.

Are the little dents around the EDGE of the buffer face (has no marks on the face of the buffer from the BC) from the  buffer retainer, is that wear normal?

Thanks,
Dill

I don't usually see this wear on my AR's but I have noticed that my 50 Beoulf does this to my buffer...  not sure why... not sure if it is the part and its a coincidence that the beowulf does this or if it is due to the beowulf.

Out of curiosity are you shooting 223 or another caliber?
