How does the rear sight elevation spring get installed? is the spring pushed in and then the spring pin installed?
If that is the scenario...what is the secret or trick to push the spring in and the same time install the pin?

Insert the elevation spring under the receiver. Hold it in place with a punch (or special tool) then drive the retaining pin completely into the receiver.
