I want to remove my front sight, but I dont want to have to take the perm attached flash hider. I will be replacing it with a yankee hill flip up. Whats the best way to accomplish this. I'm thinking about cutting it off with a dremmel, but I'm afraid of messing up my barrel.

you'll have to remove the flash hider. You can try the dremel but it too easy to screw things up.
This is your opportunity to finally thread the barrel

I might just send it off for that. Have you ever had any dealings with AR15 barrels.com? He seems like a nice fellow over the phone, and reasonably priced.

nope. ADCO has been recommended to me by several members here.
