J&T's similar kit is about $ 40 cheaper, but their website is fubar and you have to download their catalog in adobe acrobat. edit- whoops, that might be for a kit without a bipod

I was talking with someone else about this recently. I honestly don't know anyone using a kit gun. Everyone I know either has a factory gun (although modified) or scratchbuilt their gun. I've seen the kits and kit guns, and read about them here-based on that, and a few other things, I'd lean towards a J&T kit over the other kit guns (or Del Ton, but I don't think he has a bull barrel gun).

If I was looking for a budget varminter I'd probably look at a rra upper and put together my own lower with a good trigger.
