Heres the deal....
Had a bushmaster v-match carbine with fluted heavy barrel on it.  Decided to remodel my gun.  Got a c-more systems quad rail forearm and bought a "threaded" Fluted heavy barrel.  The barrel is the same model barrel only new and threaded.  I had to sand a hair on the front of the receiver to get the barrel nut to line up with the gas tube(for the quadrail).  BEARLY took the finish off. used 320 grit SP on a block.  Should I have to worrie about the head space with the new barrel & sanding ???? The gun had aprox. 100-200 rounds through it prior.  Thanks for any help!

You could grind ALL the threads off and not effect headspacing

Headspacing is determined by the barrel extension when the barrel is assembled.

While it's a good idea to check it with a field gauge, if the parts are all pretty new, you should be fine.

Ok wasnt sure if filing the threads on the front of the receiver would effect the head space or not.  Knew that filing would set the barrel further back in the receiver, just didnt know if it would effect HS.  The barrel is brand new.  How much would the gun have to be fired to effect it prior to installing a new barrel?

oh, I can't recall hearing an actual number.   Probably over 15,000 I'd bet, to wear a bolt enough to be a problem with a new barrel

heck, I've got bolts with over 10k on them that don't even show any real wear on the lugs.....

With only a few hundred rounds, I'd feel totally safe using this gun
