Hey Guys,

I need a little help.  I'm changing the pistol grip on my Bushy and I can't figger out what kind of screw is holdin' the old one in.  What the heck is that thing?  Could it be an Allen screw?  If it is my wrenches ain't long enough to get up in there.  I checked search but no luck.. thanks, Dawghinking.gif

Shine a flashlight up in the hole in the bottom of the grip.

I have seen both Allen heads and  flat tip screws . If it is the Allen head  just take your lower to the hardware store and look for a longer Allen wrench that will fit. JUST THE LOWER!!!! Or there may be a standard size that I don't know about. I am at work and don't have my wrenches. If it is not a flat head screw then I am betting it to be an Allen head screw.

Well, if you've ruled out a flat-tip screw, then it has to be a 3/16" allen-head screw.

extra long allen wrenches will be needed to remove the screw from the grip

bushmaster uses the allen cap screws, i like them and have the tools to, others prefer the slotted screw.

I have lots of spare Allen wrenches that should fit the pistol grips.  I'll give you one if you need.

I use a 1/4" drive head screw driver and bit adapter with an allen bit in it. Came in a little cheap tool set someone gave me once.

That is rude. Ask permission first, or the gun might shoot you.
