Can some one give me some feed back on rear iron sights.  What do you use?  Pros and cons.  For the new SEBR bushmaster.

Thanks

The ARMS 40L is a great folding sight which has worked quite nicely for me in the field.

Do you have the low profile one?

40L=Low

I have the ARMS 40 that I really like. I wanted the site to spring up with the large aperture and that's what I got.

I've been researching the same thing. I've been leaning towards the GG&G.

My opinion....

Best flip-up? Troy

Best fixed? LaRue

Which one?  I carried the A2 version for awhile and never liked that I had to grab the windage knob to raise the sight.  I found it slightly off (only slightly)  more than once and switched over to the ARMS40L.  I'm not sure if it was raising the BUIS, or the amount of use the weapon was getting, but it was unsat for a duty weapon.

The A2 is my favorite BUIS.  It sits low and is very beefy.  If the windage knob was moving easily, something wasn't right on yours.  Flipping the BUIS up & down shouldn't change the windage adjustment.

The TROY also makes a nice low profile BUIS.  But there are spaces near the rear aperture which slows my eyes down to target.

Yep.  Troy is built like a tank.  Easy to engage.  Windage knob won't get accidentally "adjusted".  Same plain aperture.

LaRue has the lever on the right side, so as to not be in the way of the CH.  No elevation adjustment, which IMHO you do NOT need for a BUIS.  Light weight.  QR repeats zero 100%.
