My Bushy came with a plastic buttplate with a metal trap door. Is there an all steel buttplate available with a trap door? Is the M16 buttplate metal or plastic? Thanks!

GI buttplates are plastic. I don't know about the all-steel units, but there is an aluminum one brownells (.com) sells made by RB Precision - part # 100-000-691 if you feel the need... |
