Here is my first build / assembly.

RRA stripped lower.
RRA standard LPK
RRA 20" flat top chromolly upper.
A2 stock
A2 removable carry handle.

Now I just need to shoot it.

Thanks!
I got the stripped lower from rbprecision through the EE. The upper and LPK was ordered from ADCO firearms who I found through the industry section. I recommend both companies. Both had killer deals, fast shipping and were great to do business with. I was able to put this together for ~$620.00.

I used the assembly guide from this site and had the whole thing assembled in about an hour. That's even with shooting the pivot pin spring and retainer accross the room... It is way easier than it looks. I can't wait to do the next one. Glad I ordered two stripped lowers...

If you put that together in a clear plastic garbage bag it'll catch the flying parts

That's actually a pretty good idea. I'll try that next time.

Thanks! Haven't started on the second yet. I think I want to do a mid-length and everybody seems to be back ordered on the RRA mid-length uppers. Guess I need to get on the waiting list.

Nice! There's something about a plain jane AR. They are still very functional and effective.

Now you need to build a carbine!!

That looks really nice.  congrats.  I had the same problem with the pivot pin spring on my first build.  I was lucky I found it.
