Just wanted to share picks of my newest creation. I wanted an AR with the M4 profile barrel but did not want to spend the $ for the SBR route so this is what I came up with, all purchased from here on the EE:

Superior arms lower with DPMS LPK - $139
Bushmaster 14.5" barrel with phantom, complete - $350
Sock - $55
FFL Transfer fee - $15

Total is less than I paid for my last kit!

Downside is I will have to wait until this weekend to try her out.

Looks good, I like a nice basic carbine that is uncluttered.

How did you find a 14.5/phanton upper with bolt , carrier and charging handle for $350? Is it used?
Even your $55 sock is a good deal.
I just bought the same parts and spent $500 on the upper +B&BC alone...used.

Nice rifle. Nicer bargain hunting.
