Okay, finally bought a RRA stripped lower so I can buy a kit and put my first black rifle together.  I admit to lurking here for a few months and feel like I've learned a lot, mostly though I learned this will be an expensive habit!  I'm not looking for anything fancy 'cause Lord knows I'll probably be changing a lot of it out over the course of its/my life but I need help.

I want the A2 type upper (no optics right now), and the M4 look in a basic rifle.  I'm looking at 3 kits and need help understanding the differences:

So the price on these is mostly the same with the only real difference I can tell being the last one has a better barrel than the other two.  I'm leaning towards the last one (the expedition) but want to hear some opinions from the guru's on this site.

Thanks in advance.

Id go with a lightweight 16" chrome lined flattop. Looks like all of those are just chromemoly barrels. Chrome lined will be more forgiving over time and not rust as bad as chrome moly. The flattop is more versitile and allows you to configure it as needs change. You can always put a carry handle mount on the flat top.
