I have a parts built AR15 which i'm going to convert into a carbine using a DPMS A3 upper receiver and a 16 inch pre-ban Bushmaster barrel with M4 handguards and my question is would i be better off using a Bushmaster bolt and bolt carrier assembly or one made by DPMS?.

I'm not arguing with you (I don't have any experience with Bushmaster Bolts), but what makes you say that? Fit and finnish?  Actual performance?  I'd be curious...

Thanks,

I agree, the DPMS bolts I've seen look like they are finished on a 4 1/2" grinder.  I've been using CMT bolts.  They seem to be nice.
