Today at a gunshow I picked up the last parts I need to build my  lower, an RRA NM 2-stage trigger group.

So, it will be:
Stag lower receiver
Colt A2 buttstock assembly
DPMS LPK
RRA 2-stage trigger

Tomorrow I will put it all together. Can't wait, I would do it tonight, but I promised my daughter I'd take her to Revenge of the Sith.

Now all I have to do is find the perfect upper - or two.

Take her to the matinee tomorrow.  That way the lower gets done tonight.  And the matinee is cheaper than a Saturday night movie.

Skip the movie and build your AR, heard that movie sucked ass anyways.

My (first) lower build is complete:

Stag lower
DPMS LPK
RRA 2-stage NM trigger
Colt A2 buttstock assembly

Now I just have to get the upper. I built this to be my entry-level rifle in CMP/Service Rifle competition, so the upper will be an A2 NM upper, probably from either DPMS or RRA - although WOA would be nice if I can swing the cash.

As you can guess, the worst part was the pivot pin detent. Luckily I was able to find the detent the two times it took to the air over my workbench.

The BRD build-bug has now bitten; on Friday I bought a MEGA stripped lower from Ripcode

And I did take my daughter to the Revenge of the Sith. Went in with low expectations, so the movie was actually better than I thought it would be.

Congrats, good looking lower build.

I also finished my lower build about three weeks ago, except I already have my A2 Gov't. profile 20-inch upper waiting for the lower.

The lower I just completed didn't have the pivot detent but my first one I finished last March had it, I lost a detent pin but I had spares. I ordered a detent pin installation tool but it came a few days too late.

Looking at your build I think I'm going to get a Stag lower too, I already have a Stag LPK. That's BRD, it's too much to resist.

My two boys and I saw the movie also, now I have to get the first three original episodes so they could find out what happened after this episode.

Good luck on your build.

now all you need to do is to replace that A2 stock with a Magpul, LMT Sopmod, or Vtor stock, replace the straight trigger guard with a magpul unit, and put a KNS anti spin pin kit on her and she will be ready to rock and roll.
