Building my 2nd AR, and wanted to use a STAG lower part kit. Where is the best place to buy one? Also, how are the DMPS kits sold at Brownells, I believe I can get one for around $44.00 dealer price. Thanks BM225 |

Either one of these two will be able to get you a CMT lower parts kit. Bravo Company USA G&R Tactical |

I bought my Stag LPK from seller Teknic of NW Tactical at the AR15.com Equipment Exchange (EE) section in this website, click on the tab on top of the page or my links below. Then click on AR15 Pars New or AR Accessories & Misc sections. DPMS are also available here at the EE, it have a lower price but inconsistent quality in my opinion. Your mileage may vary. Here is another LPK thread with more opinions. LOWER RECIEVER PARTS KIT thread link |

I just got two Stag LPKs from G&RTactical yesterday. He shipped USPS Priority. In both kits the hammer is polished on the top and front faces. Is this the "shiney hammer"? Maybe he has a good supply or I got luck of the draw. At any rate, I'm tickled with these kits. These are the first kits I've purchased and I feel like it was money well spent. I assembled a lower last night and it went great. The trigger is a bit heavy, but smooth, crisp and no creep. I'm really impressed with the quality of the trigger pull, weight not withstanding. Besides, it's the easiest to correct. |
