In my rush to order my upper, I sent a check to J&T.  It didn't occur to me that they would have to wait 2 weeks for the check to clear before shipping

It's supposed to ship out on the 19th.  I can't wait!!!

Hope you guys are ready to walk another noob thru a build

Since ya got time (waiting for your check to clear) Hit each page and post in the AR section and the AR Build section. Most of your questions will be answered without having to ask them.

Just a couple tips:

Put duct tape on the lower side where the bolt hold roll pin goes so you don't mar the receiver while tapping it in.

Put the front side in on the trigger guard before you tap the pin in, those ears will break off.

Definetly use an anti seize when installing the barrel.

If you have to have head space gauges, buy a "field", it's the only one you'll need.

Torque the barrel firm, and then to the next scallop.  No need for a torque wrench.

Buy lots of ammo and mags.
