I have a recently purchased RRA lower that came with the RRA 6 position stock and the locking nut is tighter than I have ever seen.  I am using a stock removal wrench and still no luck.  I really do not want to apply heat, but may have to if I cannot get it to move.

Any suggestions.  I have already soaked it with Kroil, still no luck.

Thanks,

i had that problem awhile back i use an action block and use one of those cheap telestock wrench and end up bending it.the thing is those wrench dont have enough contact and i find that the bushmaster ones are better http://www.bushmaster.com/shopping/gunsmith/223-telewrench2.asp and you wont end up scratching your buffer tube.i think rra or buhy might add a little loctite to it so just use some more elbow grease or beat it with a hammer.

Steve at adco told me that RRA has been using loctite on the threads and the only way to get them loose is to use heat until it smokes.
