I have a set of upper receiver vise blocks that I baught from Bushmaster. But they leave marks on the receiver when installing a barrel. The same marks you see on pretty much all new Bushmaster builds. I ordered a receiver block from ADCO that holds it with two pins through the holes in the receiver. I was wondering if this would be ok for torqing a barrel. Does anyone use these for installing a barrel and if so have you had any problems? Thanks, James,

When using the Bushmaster type blocks, put a plastic freezer bag over the upper before clamping in the blocks.  Wha-La.  No more marks.
