| Now Model ! is offering a chrome lined barrel and chamber as an option, I am thinking about using one of their EM-4 kits. Does anyone know who actually manufactures there barrels and receivers? Any experience, good or bad with their kits? I will be using it on a RRA lower. thanks, Mike |

The barrel that came with my 20" A2 kit was made by ER Shaw... It's darn accurate, too! My only bit of advice is this... Don't even install the junk bolt catch that comes with a model 1 kit. The one that came in my kit was out of spec dimensionally, and was soft. It would NOT hold the bolt back on an empty mag. I bought a replacement bolt catch from Fulton Armory, now it works great! |
