[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Disassembling M4 telo stock??

Can someone tell me how to disassemble the stock? I'm trying something out and need to pull the thing apart, but the lock pin won't lift high enough (so I've tried) to slip out the tube... Anyone?

Try unscrewing the nut that holds the latch on.

Dont unscrew it, just pull harder, or better yet try pivoting the latch the other way, grab it where the thumb goes to pivot it and pull hard to overcenter it then it will lift high enough to slide off the tube

Pull the latch straight out instead of pushing down.

Got it, thanks guys... this should work quite well and reduce the shoulder bruising I get from my Rem 870 using them buckshot and slug loads.
