I just got my Barrett M468 in and want to put a collapseable stock on it. My problem is the Buffer is a lot longer than your standard AR15.  so the bolt wouldn't  even come close to a full cycle (Buffer hits the end of the stock).

My options as I see them
1) Find a Collapseable stock with a long enough tube
2) Use a different (Shorter) buffer and spring that will work in the collapseable stock, but I am worried it won't handle the recoil of the 6.8 SPC. Any help would be appreciated.

You need a heavy carbine buffer and carbine action spring.
I recommend a Wolff Extra Power spring available from Brownells.

Your Barrett came with an A2 stock with a rifle spring and buffer.

I just use a regular carbine buffer and spring with my 6.8 upper & Magpul, no problems.
