I want to remove a RRA FF tube and replace with a Daniel Defense or ARMS.  What is the best way to do this?

1.  Remove FSB/gas block, with the gas tube attached.

2.  Uncrew FFtube, standard threads, using a strap wrench.

3.  If it is a one piece design, it will come off with the barrel nut and all, ready to swap.  If it is a two piece design, you will unscrew the tube itself, then you have to use your barrel wrench to remove the barrel nut.  Then swap.

To add. You need a barrel wrench with a big enough opening to fit over the FF tube barrel nut. I have an Oly armor's wrench and BM wrench that were both too small. I ordered the DPMS wrench and it fit.

the RRA tube is one piece.  Use a strap wrench.
