i'm about to convert  a 20" hbar to a 16 " lightweight or m4 type barrel with collapseable stock.what would be the overall length with the stock fuly collapsed,say, with a bushmaster car fiberlite stock? fbirdcage flash suppressor  on it too, i might add...I thank you...

 With the CAR style stock and tube: 31.75 inches approx.  I have a Colt Sporter 2 ( think of a Bushie Lightweight upper but A1E2 ) in this general configuration and that's where it measures out to.

thank you very much...now i can  picture how much this will reduce my length.I always felt that with the current 20 inch barrel,this weapon was way too long...but , in comparison,it's almost exactly the same length as a marlin 30-30,a gun i always felt was a very compact size.now to find a tape measure to start comparing again...thanks!
