Let me be the first to congratulate you before I see what you have there, good job.  
That is outstanding, extra weight won't matter for target and varmits but how hefty is that thing?  I bet it's quite a bit to move around.

A hefty 12.2 with loaded mag....but  I don't care a bit.  I can't stand anything that's loose, so I had to get the magpul (very pleased)-  like things sturdy (had to JBweld the grip bottom as there was a little play). Oh my...I can't wait to shoot. This site was invaluable!

No, thats all you. I put the scope mount on it. The large knobs go on the left side (away from the ejection port).

However, I have seen it done the other way. To each their own.

I think it may be too, but we need some more people to confirm.  BTW nice gun, i really like those YHM rails, wish I have enough $  to buy one.
