Hey y'all, I have another question about installing a free float tube.

If I install a free float tube like a LaRue or a Daniel Defense, is there any chance that I could misalign the barrel (get a canted front sight tower) when I re-install my existing barrel with the new barrel nut?

Not a chance. There is a barrel pin that fits in the slot on the upper receiver. Just be careful not to damage the slot when removing or replacing the barrel. I've installed the DD12.0 before.. easy as pie.
