Just finished this baby the other day. It is my new favorite carbine. Stag lower, CMT upper, Bushy 1:7 M4 barrel with phantom pinned and welded (thanks Adco!), RRA M4 stock and b/c/ch, G27 grip.

I want to build my own upper, but I dont want to have to buy all the 'special' tools to do it...

Man that is sweet!  Where did you find the Bushmaster barrel?

Eagle firearms had some a few months ago.

The only "special tools" you need are a barrel nut wrench and an action block. About a $50 outlay if you buy it new. Then you have an excuse to build more rifles to "justify" the cost.......

At least that is what I am telling my wife if she asks.

That's where I got mine. Chrome lined and it even had the M4 ramps.

Great, I didnt site her in yet, but I ran about 400 rounds thru her the other day. A combo of Wolf, Umc, XM193, Winchester white box. 100 rounds of each, all ran perfectly.

Great job, h8mtv!

Simple, yet beautiful.

and every time 1st rate components are used, you will end up with 1st rate results.

Like yours.

Did  you opt to not go with the M4 handguards or are you going to pick them up at a later time.  I recently got an upper from Eagle, too.  I got an email from Chris which said, I got a suprise shipment from BM, these won't last.  Ordered it that day.  Mine was a 16" Patrolman flat top with M4 handguards.

Heres mine

I bought just the barrel from them. I had the delta assy and handguards on hand. I kinda like the slim handguards, but I may change to M4 handguards later.

+1  I prefer the carbine handguards over the M4.  Great looking build BTW.

There really are some nice looking rifles here in Va. It is hard to compete with the likes of Udogs Dissergy though!
