Nobody try made a upper in 5.7 FN, ?  Who can made a barrel for these? the standart magazines
work with 5.7?

Why? The 5.7 is like a mini .223, only costing 2x-3x more for ammunition
with less potency.  I can see maybe for a pistol, but too little bang-for-buck
for an ar15 rifle.  Just my $.02

It could be done, and M1 carbine mags could be used.

Why?
Why not?

People use .22 lr, 9mm, etc. uppers.

it can be done, but its not economically right--ammo is too expensive and scarce; change the ammo availability, then some might bite

there are .22 lr b/c its cheap to shoot; there is 9mm cause its roughly the same price to shoot as .223 and its quieter and different, but not exotic

The idea is build a ultra short carbine (maybe 6 or7" barrel) and efective, (ala P90), the 5.7 works better than 5.56 in short barrels, with less recoil and flash.....

I want  a bolt gun in 5.7, that could make a nice rifle to fill the void from .22 and .223 for varmints
