| Hey guys, I was wondering, for my next project I'm just going to keep it REAL simple. I mean a 20'' A2, with A2 Flash hider, and everything just standard. What do you guys expect the cost to be? This will mostly be a plinker, so what do you guys recommend for an upper? Thanks in advance! |

I think the J&T kits and a Mega / Stinger / Grizzley / Stag lower is a good solid choice. It will be my next choice. There are cheaper alternatives out there. I cant vouch for quality, but check out this link: http://www.sarcoinc.com/m16.html Look for the following: " AR209 AR15/M16 Parts Kit, minus lower receiver (Included are stocks, G.I. handguards, M16 type bolt carrier, A2 type upper receivers, and all internal parts) $386.00 ea, " With a Mega lower at $89 shipped (+ FFL), you are looking at $475. plus kit shipping and FFL. I would advise you to do some searches to ensure you are willing to accept some quality risk by doing anything less than J&T. If you do take the risk, please post your results. Good luck. -Dave |
