How long are mid-length hand guards?

Not real sure, but judging by the picture of RRA's Varmint Barrel Assemblies, I would guess they are about 2" longer than CAR stocks.

On YHMs website it says 9.2"

Again based off of YHMs websight. They have the free float carbine listed as 7.2" and the free float rifle listed as 12.5".
