I just completed building on a CMT ( New Britain, CT ) lower receiver.  DPMS internal parts kit.  This was by far the easiest assembly I have done so far.  I have not heard of CMT, but have been waiting on Rock River receivers for about three weeks with no end in sight.  I did have one problem when installing the top end.  The top would not close with the  9mm mag block in place.  Inspection showed the bolt was hitting on the ejector.  I compared the bolt (still in upper) with another RR 9mm bolt and notice the groove for the ejector was much more shallow.  Pulled the bolt /carrier out and low and behold it was a 5.56 bolt /carrier.  I thought how in the hell does that bolt fit into a 9mm upper.  Well, it doesn't.  It a 5.56 upper.  I never checked it when I unpacked it two days ago.  So it goes back monday.  Question?  Anyone used a CMT lower or know about them?
