Anyone know anything about Olympics titanium lower?

Good piece, but don't bother. It's heavier than aluminum and the strength advatage just isn't worth it. On the bright side, the finish wil never wear. Its raw titanium, whish is tough and does not corrode.

I would buy three standard lowers for the same price instead, but that is just me.

Actually, it's not just you...

The high price probably comes from the raw materials and machining process - working on titanium requires an exorbitant amount of special coolant and special tooling. Otherwise it will burn... or destroy the tool.

And for that reason, I would buy a Ti pistol frame, but not an AR lower. Gotta have a return on my investment.
