[ARCHIVED THREAD] - A2 FH timing?

I cut the welded brake off my model 1 16" HBar. I have a A2 FH and crush washer. My question is, the FH times with the bottom at 1 o'clock (hand tight) with the crush washer on. Will the washer "crush" enought to torque FH so bottom is at 6 o'clock?

Yes it will, that's why the call it a "crush" washer.

ps - that's why I prefer the A1 FS, works better IMO and doesn't need indexing.....

Thanks mike (damn you're fast and helpful today!), I just wasn't sure how much squish was in the little bugger.
