Anybody have any experience with Wilson Comabat lowers?  How do they compare to RRA or BM?

Once again, I will state the fact:

Ameetec, Mega and Stag Arms lowers are great. Any other lower and you are paying more money simply for a brand name stamped on the side.

That said, I have never heard anything bad about Wilson, but there's no reason to spend more on a brand name.

Thanks, that was umm.. Helpful.
How about a little information to help me make an informed decision?  I know that RRA makes tight toleranced lowers with a lifetime warranty, I know that BM makes lowers that aren't blocked.  I don't know anything about the Wilson Combat lowers aside from them being very expensive.  Can anybody lend a little knowledge?

Tagged.  I'm curious as well.

They look like nice products but not really enough info on their page to justify the difference in price.  I'll ask around & if I get any info I'll pass it along.

From what I've heard/read, Wilson's complete ARs deviate from spec in ways that Wilson thinks makes them more accurate -> they are proprietary...

If they're selling stropped lowers, I don't know if those would be designed for 'Wildon System' ARs, or for standard equipment...

Well I can tell you that in the AR system not a whole lot of stress is really put on the lower receiver...in other words it won't do anything to improve your rifle. Their website says it is machined to tight tolerances, but again so are RRA. Even then, it has been shown that an upper/lower tolerance has no impact on accuracy since the bullet has already left the barrel way before the upper and lower have time to flex. If your upper and lower wobbles, it might bother you but it probably won't affect accuracy in the least. If for any reason it still bothers you you could pick up an accuwedge. They are really cheap, and probably useless, but they do prevent wobble between the receivers.

Hope that was a little more helpful than my last post.

Thanks for your help, I was leaning towards RRA and I think that's the route I'll go.
Thanks again!
