Well guys, it looks like I'm going to have to back up and punt.  I really want a DCM rifle but I'm going to have to start with a standard kit.

My questions is:  Which parts should I replace first when switching from the standard rifle parts to NM parts?  I can upgrade the kit to a 1/8 stainless Wilson barrel for $50 which I will probably do at the time of purchase.  Should I first:

Replace the trigger, replace the sights or install a DCM freefloat tube.  What'dya think?

Paul,

Your choice for the premium barrel is a good start, the second highest improvements I see with our customers is a two stage trigger. While the input of sling pressure is going to be a downside until the ff tube is added. You could do a cheap fix and throw 1/4 min windage and NM front sight post in for under $25.00 until you have funds for the whole setup (from us)

I would go this order

Trigger
FF tube
Sights
