I want to build a gun up from a upper/lower that I have. It will be an M4, chromed 1x7 twist. I looked at all the websites I know of any no one offers kits like that, do you have any suggestions? Or maybe call a place and ask if they can sell me the kit minus the barrel? |

I am missing what you want. You already have an upper and lower receiver. Are they stripped, or are they already assembled into a weapon? If they are shells, you want to buy a barrel assembly. Call Bushmaster and tell them what you need, they have the 1/7 M4 barrels but don't list them on their webpage. They are often special runs. Unless you shoot a lot of 75+ grain ammo, a 1/9 would work fine for you. Get a Bushie bolt w/BC while you are at it. Another thought would be an LMT barrel, available through various vendors here. The LMT will run you an extra $100 over the Bushie. Both Bushie and LMT and proof fired, 4150 steel, and chrome lined. For lower parts, ie FCG, get the RRA lower kit. Try ADCO for good service and pricing. They can also do good for you with the Bolt. |
