[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Building an A2 stripped upper

Very new to AR15s and building my first upper. I have a parts diagram (thank you Bushmaster), parts, and a set of punches. Anything that can bite me in the ass or tricks to doing this properly? After this all I need is a barrel and I am off to the range. Thank you AR15.com.

Thanks, the lower is complete. Just wondering if there is any info on the upper, especially the sight.

If you have not done so yet, download the -23 maintenance manual... It gives detailed instructions on the A2 sight assembly/disassembly, the FA, etc...
