Hi folks!

I need a little info/help.  I would like to build an AR-15 when the ban sunsets.  What I would like is basically the m-4 carbine that I see over here in Iraq.

What "Evil" items will be allowed once the ban expires?  Where might I get the parts for the carbine?  I have read the forum stickies on construction.  I also have a Compas Lakes AR-15 for service rifle competition and an AR-10 just because.  I am somewhat familiar with the parts/construction.

What can I order right now?  What do I need to wait till the sunset to get?  How would you do it?  Brands?

Thanks,

Sauramen

Don't know if their are more restrictive laws in your state?

But as far as the AWB, you can own "evil" parts, you just can not have them assembled onto a post-ban receiver.

If/when the AWB sunsets civilians get back:
bayo lugs
colapsable stocks
threaded barrels and flash hiders
and high cap mags

installing a new FSB with a bayo lug and threading the barrel for the FH - should be done by a gunsmith
so you might find it easier to get a new "pre-ban" barrel - and just swap it out?

best recomendation we have is LMT
It is over there in IRAQ.

Just make sure your state does not have its own laws to restrict certain AR features.

You can also get pistol grips and grenade launcher mounts, assuming we're talking about AR-15's then you already have a pistol grip...And I don't know why in the hell anyone would need 'nade launcher mounts seeing as they're illegal without a c3...maybe for a 203mm "flare launcher".  You can have one evil on any gun now, and on AR's that is the pistol grip...The ban will allow pistol grips on other guns though when it sunsets....I'm just being repetetive now so I'm shutting up before I get a headache..

EDIT:  When the ban sunsets you'll also be allowed to have front vertical pistol grip.
