[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 9mm build question

I am building a 9mm RRA upper and am confused at the delta ring part. RRA says I need the 9mm delta ring.. the only difference that I can think of is that the 9mm doesn't have the gas tube hole?? any help here???

Use what ever ring you can get easiest. Most likely the 9mm ring does not have the slot for gas tube, hand guards is hand guards. Use the plain old every day 223/556 ring if that is what you have laying around.
