i got my 1st kit 95 % together, and then got stupid.

the hole for the buffer and spring wat just a little tight for the them. and instead of dremeling the hole with a stone, i wedged the buffer in and had to thern drill it out.

stupid i know, but is there any problem with reaming the hole out so the new buffer detent slides freely ?

chuck the little end of the detent in your drill motor and use some sandpaper to whitle the detent OD down some.  My belief is to modify the parts to fit the lower, not modify the lower to fit parts.  I have found that more often it's the parts that are out of spec, rather than the lower, unless you got a really crappy lower.
