Great forum!! I am going to build a varmit style AR. I was wondering if there is a huge difference in quality between the brand names and some that you can build for much less money. I found a varmit kit for $510 without the lower reciever. Good Deal? Will I sacrifice accuracy? Thanks for the help fellas, Butchdog |

As long as you stick with Armalite, Colt, Bushmaster, Rock River Arms, DPMS or Olympic Arms, you should get a fairly decent products without much concern. FWIW, knowing who made the upper IS important, if quality is apart of your requirements. Welcome aboard, [beer] Mike |
