| ive been screwing with this thing all morning so i could test it at the range today. its an rra 2 stage trigger and i cant get the front push pin all the way through the lower. the thing is like 2mm towards the rear of the lower than it should be. I have like 3mm left to drive this thing across the lower. any tips for fixing this up |

The hammer spring is strong and tries to push the hammer toward the rear. With the pin in only one side it tends to 'cock' the hammer to one side. You need to twist the hammer back to get the end of the pin to align with the far side hole. It's easier with the safety out. The hammer needs to be cocked to get the safety back in. |

Remove the safety. When you get the hammer into the receiver you need to pull it back towards the cocked position as far as you can while aligning the the bottom of the hammer with the pin holes in the receiver. Push the bottom of the hammer forward till the holes align. Work left to right when installing the pins. Remember you are going to encounter the J spring in the hammer and it will offer some resistance. Denny |
