I just assembled my EM-4 kit I received from jt distributing yesterday.I requested a chrome-lined barrel for 50.00 more. The question is I am not sure if the barrel is really chrome-lined or not. The barrel is marked in front of the sight post DSC CHROMED 1-9. Looking in the barrel with a flashlight it appears semi-dull like the barrel on my Mini-14. It is nowhere as shiny as the barrel on my ak-47. Any thoughts?[:\]

Not all chrome linings are shiny... the easiest way to tell is by looking at the muzzle.. I don't have a pic, but there's a ring of material that often indicates the presence of chrome.

Congrats on the JT, you'll really like your rifle.

Check either at the muzzle or in the chamber and you should see some overspray.

I cleaned out the bore and chamber last night with some Hoppes solvent and a cleaning rod. She looks pretty nice now![:)] By the way, thanks for the great service and quality JT dist. It seems like a pretty nice rifle[^]. I'll post a pic later.[8D]
