How easy is it to switch from a A3 to an A2? I dont think I want a A3 anymore, wanna switch. I wouldnt need any more parts besides the new upper would I?  Thanks!

Your will need a rear sight for the new upper, the other parts are transferable, instructions are easy.

So there arent any parts that will be destroyed when I remove the flattop?

As long as you don't go "WEC" with it, and take it easy, you'll be fine.

I got the "Unit And Direct Support Maintenance Manual", anybody know what page(s) this procedure is on?

So pretty much what I do is remove the gas tube, use a barrel wrench to remove the barrel, and then just tighten, loosen, tighten, loosen, tighten the barrel on the new upper, install gas tube?
