Hello everyone, Ive been lurking here for a couple days after getting the ar15 itch.

At first I was going to get a 80% lower and drill it my self. That idea seems to hard for me now and the price of a factory made is similar.

So I decided to buy a factory lower through one of the online vendors, but the problem im having is that the gun stores and local transfer agents I speak with don't deal in assault weapons unless its a specific Bushmaster in most cases so they don't get in trouble.

Is anyone here in NJ who can do a transfer for me? I do have a NJ firearms ID and a drivers lic. I just need an agent.

Where in NJ are you?
I have dealt with these  FFL in the past, they will do the transfer with no questions asked.

The easiest is Bullet Hole:

78 Rutgers Street
Belleville, NJ 07109
(973) 759-3968
They charge $60.00 including NIcs and all the paper work.

Also you can try
Paterson Gunsmithing
438 Main St. Paterson NJ 07501
(973) 345-4100

Don know how much they charge

R. J Maroni
583 Highland Ave.
Upper Montclair, NJ 07043
(973) 783-6145

You have to call first and make an appointment.

Also do a search on www.shotgunnews.com they have a database of FFL.

Good luck

In central NJ I would recommend Vinny from Hunting World Guns and Ammo. You can find his info by going to gunbroker and using their FFL search with your zip code. The man is a tresure charging $25 per transfer.

[b] First I would like to welcome you to the forum [wave] . Were all glad you decided to become a member. You might ask this question in the Hometown Forum New Jersey board. There might even be some type of FFL list to look over. Try looking at auction arms ,they have a real good list of them. www.auctionarms.com/help/fflnetwork.cfm

Good Luck and once again Welcome.
