Starting my 1st AR project with a RRA stripped lower.  Planning this one as a standard style A2. Nothing fancy, just a shooter. Planning on buying a complete upper(when $$ allows). Any particular brand I should stay away from or won't fit a RRA lower? M&A Parts from Illinois seem to have good prices. They say their uppers are built with Wilson barrels from a gov't contractor. Anyone familiar with these?  Thanks!!

Rather than bad mouth anyone, I will suggest a couple of good places to get your upper and parts.
DPMS
RRA
Bushmaster (my preference)
Colt (expensive)
Armalite (makers of Eagle arms also)
Any of those listed above are reputable and deliver quality products.

Wilson makes barrels for several AR manufacturers.  Troy (I believe) put together a very nice comparison chart.  IIRC, it is located in the AR15 Discussions forum and shows who uses Wilson barrels.

I ordered my parts kit from DMPS a few weeks ago.
The guy on the phone was very helpful.
Now if the turn around time is as efficient as the salesman, I would recpommend these guys without blinking

Just completed a M@A 20" A2 on a century lower the kit fit and matched great. Only problem was the detent hole on the selector was to deep, they had me mail it back, and they are replacing it.The rifle shoots great very acurate.
