I think I put the locking ring on my 6 pos Bushmaster telestock backwards.  In fact I know I did (the little gaps face the receiver plate instead of the rear of the stock).  I put loctite on the ring, the interior of the receiver, and the buffer tube.

Is this a big deal?  Is it better or worse this way and why?

Thanks.  I imagine it's not, but I just want to know if I should disassemble it and redo it?

More than likely be a "cosmetic" thing, if anybody looked closely and seen the chamfer on the ring. Probably hurt more knowing in your own mind that it is indeed reversed, and somebody may see the chamfer and know you put it on backwards.
