I am planning on removing the pinned gas block on my RRA upper with SS barrel and replacing it with a DPMS removable gas block (no sights) while installing a free float handguard.  The DPMS block installs with set screws, but how do you insure the gas port is properly aligned during installation?

The DPMS barrel I have has 2 pockets (for lack of better word) that the set screws index into so the block does not rotate out of place.

The distance from the edge of the sightbaste/gas block for the gas port hole is fairly std, and the hole in the base/block are usually larger than the port, so just make a few reference marks/measures and run with it.
