I have a RRA NM lower and I am looking to either build or purchase an upper. With the search function down it is hard to find the info I need. I want the proverbial tack driver but being fully aware of the law of diminishing returns - where the more money you throw at something will yield less and less improvement in accuracy. I have a ½ MOA .223 bolt action and I do not want this project to be any less accurate, I’d prefer more. I will be shooting at between 100 & 300 yards. I think I want a 20” SS bbl rifled in 1:8 or 1:9. My two questions are: What is the price point where you get the most accuracy for your money? If the following were to be ranked from highest to least accurate how would these rate: A, B, RRA, Olympic, DPMS, J&T, and Metalcraft. Thanks |
