I was shocked to see Wal-Mart caring the G2X Pro tonight so I had to pick one up.  They had them prices at $69.99 in the Sporting Goods department.   I would like to hear some input on this light conserding I finally pulled the trigger after looking all over locally not finding anything durable enought.  I also found surefire 123A batteries at Lowes for less than $5.00 for a two pack.

I really like mine.

In fact, I like it better than my ATAC A2 (which runs on AA's).

My favorite feature is the low power comes on first.  Majority of the time I just need a little light.

And that LED is sure easy on them CR123's

ETA: I've got various G2's from over the years.  I just found one in a box that the switch just sits in the tail cap- it's not even attached.  It just sits in there
Compare that to the factory clicky switch?  Where's the "It's so full of win!" pic?

Not the bestest light out there, but it's a great light!

Hey guys thanks for all the info.  I have to say it looks good on my M&P15T in its CAA mount.

I've had one of the older G2 Nitrolon lights for many years. It has been fantastic and got an LED upgrade a couple of years back. Recently, I bought a G2X dual output from Wallyworld. It is now my EDC light (professional use) and is working out very well.
