| I buy my CR123A batteries in bulk, 100 packs. I am ready to place another order but the Rayvac bulk packs have no experiation dates on them. My son wants to get Energisers with a experation date. He is also worried about counterfit batteries. I checked batterystation & battery junction both which I have used in the past. Botach is not listing any CR123A batteries in a hundred pack. Where are you guys buying your batteries these days? Thanks, Mike |

I use rechargeables.
16340s, 14500, 17670s and 18650s. Surfire Z2, Fenix T1, Olight M20 R5, Solarforce L2Ms, 4Sevens Quarks in 18650-2xAA-1xAA with 14500, Nightcore copy with custom 3mode MCE drop-in pill, E2e with Malkoff M61 and VME head. I've spotted som 2100mah in 16650 that I'm thinking of trying as well. I could see using primaries for electronic sights/NV but you could save a bundle by using rechargeables if you go through 100 a year in flashlights. |
| looks like battery junction has a 50 pack of energizers, but I would look into rechargeables also alot of lights will take an 18650 and they can offer longer runtime, charger and batteries really dont cost that much when you consider what you will save in buying cr123a batterys. |

Let me get in on this too....
I'm trying to locate the right charger and batteries for Surefire lights using 123a batteries. Which charger and batteries are you guys using? All I've found out there so far are rechargeables that cannot be used in Surefire lights. |

All I've found out there so far are rechargeables that cannot be used in Surefire lights. There are higher tech ones but I've had good luck with a Ultrafire WF-139. I just have to use a couple steel ball bearings for spacers when charging 16340s. There are plenty of drop-in LED units that will work with Surefire. You'll have to check voltage demands if using Surefire LEDs. My favorite setups are a High Color Rendition Index XPG unit from Illumination Supply in VME head with E2e and a similar LED unit from Lumens Factory. Both are quite similar to color from a standard incan P60. |
